• A Note From Your Principal

    To Our Fulbright Families,

On behalf of the almost 100 faculty members, the growing community partners and countless family members we have had the opportunity to learn and lead alongside, I want to say welcome to the Wolf Pack.

William Fulbright Junior High opened in 2013 with the mantra of doing school differently.  In the years since we have grown from 650 students to 1000. And we have followed through on that promise with project-based learning, technology-rich classrooms and personalized learning plans.  We are a hands-on, student-centric building that works to prepare students for an ever-changing world through involvement in academics, athletics and the arts.

None of that work can happen without a purpose. Daily our wolves strive for three core beliefs:

    • We learn in relationship (Peer-Peer, Student-Teacher, Teacher-Teacher & School-Community).
    • We learn with rigor and relevance.
    • We learn beyond intellect.

This commitment allows our community to thrive by connecting young people to new people, new experiences and new applications, of their learning, that spark creativity and curiosity.

With a staff that carries numerous national board certified teachers, advanced degree graduates and multi-content area licensed specialists, the diversity of talent is not only a reason to celebrate joining such a phenomenal school but is also the reason we have consistently placed as the top performing junior high, both in the region and the state, for academic achievement.

We look forward to continuing this rich tradition in the coming year. Come celebrate a culture of excellence with us at Fulbright Junior High.
