• A Note From The Principal

    Dear LJHS Students and Parents/Guardians,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the Lincoln Junior High campus. I would like to share a little bit about myself. Last school year was my first year as principal of Lincoln Junior High. I have been a part of Bentonville Schools for the past 14 years, prior to coming to Lincoln Junior High, I worked at Bentonville High School and Bentonville West High School both as a teacher and administrator. I look forward to continuing to serve the students and parents of Lincoln Junior High and continuing to build on the excellence of LJHS.

The Lincoln staff is thrilled to have you at Lincoln Junior High School this year. We are here to support you and to create an amazingly positive 2021-22 school year. We are excited to continue high-level academic programs but also re-engage students through social events in which we can foster our culture and grow as a community.

Eighth graders, welcome back to Lincoln Junior High. This year is a turning point in your educational career. Many of you are taking classes to earn high school credit, and all of you are in your final year of high school preparation. It is time to start planning for future success as you explore your subsequent academic and career goals. As upperclassmen at LJHS, you will be looked upon as leaders and positive examples of Lincoln PRIDE.

Seventh graders, welcome to Lincoln Junior High. Junior high is a pivotal point in your educational career as you transition from middle school and begin preparing for high school. We are here to support you as you begin your final steps in achieving your educational goals, and we want to make this transition a seamless and enjoyable experience. We encourage all Lincoln Junior High students to be involved and engaged. Your involvement will make the junior high experience more meaningful and ultimately more successful.

We are excited you are a Lincoln Leopard and look forward to a great school year in which we empower you to dream, lead, achieve, and serve. Remember, we are here to help you, answer your questions, and address any concerns you may have. Never hesitate to ask.

    Sincerely,

    Josh Thompson, Principal
