Transportation

Every school day begins with a promise—a promise to safely deliver thousands of students to opportunities that will shape their future. At the Bentonville Schools Transportation Department, that promise is fulfilled by a dedicated team of drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, route coordinators, and support staff who understand that every mile matters. Together, we operate a fleet of 180 buses across more than 140 daily routes, transporting approximately 12,800 students and traveling more than 10,000 route miles each day. Behind every route is a commitment to safety, compassion, professionalism, and the belief that every student deserves a positive start and finish to their school day.
Our impact reaches far beyond the ride to and from school. Each year, we provide transportation for more than 2,400 field trips, opening doors to hands-on learning, athletic competition, fine arts, leadership opportunities, and experiences that inspire lifelong memories. In total, our buses travel more than 1.9 million miles annually, connecting students not only to classrooms but to the people, places, and experiences that help them discover their potential. We are more than a transportation department—we are the first smile many students see each morning, the reassuring presence that greets them at the end of the day, and an essential partner in the Bentonville Schools mission to empower every learner.
Every trip we make is driven by a simple purpose: ensuring every student arrives safely, feels valued, and is ready to succeed.
