• Mental Health

Centerton Gamble strives to meet the needs of all students in regard to mental health. School counselors provide classroom Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons regarding various life-skills, such as conflict resolution, bullying prevention/cyberbullying/empathy, coping strategies, empowerment (suicide awareness is incorporated), and career education. These lessons are presented in the classroom setting. Our school counselors work with small groups of students, as well as individuals who may need more intensive SEL support.

CGES school counselors can provide referrals and will work with parents and school-based counseling professionals who have partnered with Bentonville Schools to obtain therapeutic sessions for students who qualify. The school-based therapist works on campus with our CGES students. Parents who desire more information about school-based services should contact our school counselor, Cammie Lonetree, for more information at 479.696.3400 (clonetree@bentonvillek12.org).

Centerton Gamble administration and staff are cognizant of the whole child. Our students deserve the opportunity to grow in all areas regarding mental health and academics.
