Superintendent

Dr. Debbie Jones is the superintendent of Bentonville Schools. She was named the 2025 Arkansas Superintendent of the Year and recognized as one of four finalists for the National Superintendent of the Year. She has more than 30 years of educational experience and is widely recognized as a thoughtfully progressive visionary.

Her work has led her to collaborate with the Arkansas state legislature on several occasions to make schools safer, and she has received national accolades for her efforts to build affordable housing for public school teachers in a challenging market.

Dr. Jones and her husband, DJ, are the parents of five children and two grandchildren.
