Course Selection Process
Welcome to our high schools. Our 8th grade families create Student Success Plans (SSPs) individually in appointments with a counselor or administrator. Parent emails about the planning process for 8th graders will go out in January.
Families in grades 5-8 are invited to join us on January 13 at BWHS or January 15 at BHS for Parent University to learn more about our high schools and career planning. Both high school s will be represented on both evenings.

8th Grade Parent Notification to schedule an SSP in English and Spanish
Students who intend to enroll in BSD next year, but who are not currently enrolled in Bentonville Schools (grades 8-11), will be offered an SSP appointment option on April 21, 22, 28, and 29 with a counselor. Please schedule that appointment by completing the form linked here. Our Student Services Department manages registration. Pre-Registration for 2026-2027 is live now.
Students in grades 9-11 will get more information from counselors and advisory teachers.
