Elsa Wiseman is a senior and says, "Art is my passion and I can’t imagine a world where I am not an artist. I love being able to see the beauty in everyday life. I’ve always felt drawn to create in such a way, and I will be furthering my journey next year as I start my studio arts major!" She completed AP classes with Mr. Rankin and Mr. Wray and was an active member of the Art Club.

Get Ready for Fall this Summer!

Last week, 41 BHS students travelled to Atlanta, GA, to compete at the DECA International Career and Development Conference. Students competed in various roleplay and project presentation events.
Two of our students, Kanishk Sasikumar and Arjun Kapoor, placed 6th in the Independent Business Plan event. This is the highest placing that a BHS student has had at the national level!
The amount of work all our competitors put in this year really showed with one of our largest qualifying groups in BHS history! Our club is looking forward to Nationals next year and bringing home the coveted DECA Glass!

Our business students had an exceptional opportunity to visit Outdoor Cap Company in Bentonville, AR — a leader in the headwear industry with distribution reaching retailers nationwide. The visit gave students firsthand insight into real-world applications of supply chain management, retail strategy, and brand development. Conversations with the Outdoor Cap team bridged classroom concepts with industry practice. We're grateful for the time and expertise shared by their team. Experiences like this are what make the difference between learning business and living it.

This week we're celebrating the ones who keeps BHS running like a well-oiled machine — Ms. Spaulding, Mr. Kitchens, Mrs. Katzakian, Mr. Puckett and Ms. Vaughn -- You show up every single day for our students, staff, and community. We see you and we appreciate you MORE than words can say! 💛🖤

Introduction to Healthcare students heard from Dr. Schumacher, M.D., ER physician and owner of Pea Ridge Urgent Care, who shared his journey into medicine and experiences in emergency care. We appreciate members of our medical community taking time to connect with and support future healthcare professionals. #BentonvilleHighSchool #BentonvilleSchools #ArkansasDCTE #HealthScience #CTEWorks #CareerPathways #HealthcareEducation

Check out these incredible works by Sadie Radcliff! She is a senior art student who says, "I love drawing whimsical pieces that focus on bright colors. Although my pieces are different I try to have a matching style in both my digital and traditional pieces to make not only my collection go together but also to show who I am as an artist. I’m really proud of my portfolio thus far and I can’t wait to keep working on it! Sadie has studied with Mr. Carlson and Mr. Rankin. Great job Sadie!

Introduction to Healthcare students are diving into infection control—learning why PPE matters and practicing how to correctly don and doff it. Simple skills, big impact when it comes to safety in healthcare. #BentonvilleHighSchool #BentonvilleSchools #ArkansasDCTE #HealthScience #CTEWorks #InfectionControl #PatientSafety #HealthcareEducation

Parent/Teacher Conferences are Thursday, February 19th!

It's Career & Technical Education Month! BHS offers 20+ CTE pathways designed to prepare students for life beyond the classroom. Through our pathways, students also have opportunities to build leadership, teamwork and real-world skills by joining a Career & Technical Student Organization connected to their pathway.
A huge thank you to our dedicated CTE teachers for their commitment to student success and hands-on learning every day!
