A Note From The Principal
Welcome to Bentonville West High School, home of the Wolverines! West opened in August 2016, providing not only more room in our growing district but also more opportunities for students. The entire staff is committed to graduating students who are productive citizens and ready for the future.
The staff at West is dedicated to innovative teaching and collaborative learning. Walking through the building you will find multiple classes taking advantage of the collaborative spaces. Many of our students are involved in our CTE courses and the Ignite program, working on projects in real-world contexts and gaining valuable experience. Many students take Advanced Placement courses, scoring well on the AP exams and earning college credit.
In our building, we encourage every one of our 2200 students to become involved and engaged (words you will hear often around here!), whether in favorite activities or new ones. West students have met that challenge, taking advantage of the many opportunities available. They excel in athletics, the arts, and academics, receiving numerous honors and awards. More importantly, these students are using these opportunities to hone their leadership ability and develop skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
