Good afternoon! We had another awesome day at Cooper Elementary. Also, thank you so much for completing last week’s 3 & Out survey. We have had over 200 responses, and we look forward to using the data to improve.
This morning, we started the day with something new, the Bronco Breakdown. The Bronco Breakdown is a weekly round of video announcements we will show each Monday morning. Today’s Bronco Breakdown featured the following:
Principal Intro
“Pledge of Allegiance”
“Star Spangled Banner”
Minute of Silence
Lunchroom Procedures
Weather (with Everett this week)
Counselor Connection
Actor’s Toolbox Focus Five Activity
I’ll share the full Bronco Breakdown through snippets this week. Today’s snippet includes the welcome, pledge, and national anthem. I’ll send out the rest this week. We hope this helps communicate school news to our students and our families. Click the link below to view the Bronco Breakdown Part I. Have a great week! -Josh

Good afternoon, Cooper students and families! We have had a great week to start the school year. I hope your student’s week has been awesome. Even though it is Friday afternoon, we are all excited and ready for week two. Your students have made this week so smooth and enjoyable for our team.
Pease take a moment to share feedback about your experience at Cooper so far via our 3 & Out Survey. This survey only has 3 questions, so it’s quick and easy for you to complete. Plus, it provides us with great feedback we can use to improve and better support our school community. You may access the survey via the link below or through the link sent to your email address.
We are excited to see you all Monday. In the meantime, rest and recharge this weekend!

Meet Leslie Andreasen. Mrs. Andreasen is originally from Utah but settled in Bella Vista in 2012. She and her husband have three children ages 24, 20, and 17. She enjoys cooking, walking outside every day regardless of the weather, and watching movies with her family. She also loves dark chocolate!
Mrs. Andreasen grew up in a family of educators. Her mom was a 3rd grade teacher, and her grandpa taught 5th grade before becoming a principal for many years. She knew from a young age that she was going to be a teacher. Prior to joining Cooper's team, she taught at Gravette for eight years.
Mrs. Andreasen is now a 4th grade teacher at Cooper, and she is excited to work with our staff and join at Bentonville. Our team is thrilled to have Mrs. Andreasen join us because she has a lot of experience teaching math/science, is fun, and is laid back! We are blessed to have her with us at Cooper and excited to learn from her!

We’d like to send a big shoutout to the Bella Vista Police department for their continuous partnership with our school. This week, you might have seen them helping direct traffic, greeting students and parents, and helping kids start their day strong with a welcoming high five. It’s been a highlight of the day for our kids, and we are thankful for the PD’s support!

Good afternoon, Cooper students and families! I just wanted to thank you for a fantastic first day of school. Parents, I appreciate your patience and understanding this morning as we worked to ensure student safety during our parent classroom drop off. We had a great turnout this morning, and it was nice to see you all in our hallways. We will continue to do that each and every first day of school. A big shout out to our awesome PTO for providing parents with donuts and coffee. Thank you, PTO!
In addition, for a quick glimpse into our first day of school, please take a moment to view our CES First Day of School video via the link below. I hope you enjoy it. It was a great day. Thank you! -Josh

Today's message was to be awesome in everything you do. This student, Juliette, is a perfect example of this message. She helped decorate the school this summer and even braved the heat to help run the Cooper table at First Friday. Today, she led our first “Pledge of Allegiance" of the school year. It was (as expected) awesome. Thank you for being a part of our school, Juliette!

We are looking forward to tomorrow, the first day of school. We cannot wait to see our students and families. It is going to be a great year, Broncos!
