Parents & Guardians, We look forward to seeing our CGES families, Monday, on our first day of school! Please remember a few things before then. 1.) Expect heavy traffic next week. You'll also encounter many children walking to class, so be on the lookout for them. 2.) Expect school buses to be delayed. The first week of school is always a period of adjustment for our bus drivers and students alike. Students will be late getting to school and home but we'll work through delays quickly. 3.) Remember children will be boarding and exiting school buses. Watch for them and never go around or pass a stopped school bus. 4.) Put away your cell phone in school zones and parking lots. Car rider staff need your full attention to keep all students safe. 5.) Our doors open up at 7:00 AM with the tardy bell ringing at 7:30 AM. We will dismiss students for the day at 2:30 PM. Next week will be a little wild, here and there, but our teachers can't wait to welcome your child into their classes! We thank you, in advance, for your grace and patience while we care for your student here at Centerton Gamble Elementary! Mr. Randall Hunt, Principal
