A Note From The Principal

On behalf of our entire school community, I am delighted to welcome you and your children to Central Park Elementary. As the principal, I am incredibly proud of the achievements of our students, faculty, and staff. At Central Park, we are committed to creating an environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed, grow, and thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.

We Are a Visible Learning School

At Central Park, we believe in making learning visible. Our students take ownership of their education by setting goals, tracking their progress, and reflecting on their achievements. Our teachers use research-based strategies to ensure that every child can succeed, and you’ll see firsthand how engaged and excited our students are about their learning. This focus on visible learning empowers students to understand their growth every step of the way and celebrates the progress they make along the journey.

Arts Integration Makes Learning Fun and Relevant

We also integrate the arts across all subjects—from math and science to language arts—to make learning both creative and meaningful. Whether it's through music, dance, drama, or visual arts, our students explore new ways to express themselves and deepen their understanding of core concepts. By connecting ideas across disciplines, the arts help our students develop critical thinking skills and foster a lifelong love for learning.

Conscious Discipline for a Positive, Caring Environment

At Central Park, we believe in not just building academic skills, but also emotional intelligence. Our use of Conscious Discipline helps create a calm, safe, and respectful environment where every student can thrive. This approach teaches students self-regulation, empathy, and problem-solving skills—empowering them to take responsibility for their actions and build positive, healthy relationships with their peers and teachers. It’s a school culture where kindness, respect, and cooperation are at the heart of everything we do.

Supportive and Caring Staff

Our dedicated staff is passionate about fostering a love for learning and ensuring every student feels supported. We know that each child is unique, and we work tirelessly to create an environment where every student can succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally. Our teachers are committed to their craft and continually seek innovative, exciting ways to engage students and make learning enjoyable.

A Strong Sense of Community

When you join Central Park Elementary, you’re not just joining a school—you’re becoming part of a family. We value building strong partnerships with families and the wider community to ensure our students have the support they need both inside and outside the classroom. Together, we can help your child grow, succeed, and shine!
