We traded the armor for garden gloves and headed out to the school garden. The sheer pride of holding up a misshapen carrot like it’s a gold medal? That’s the good stuff. We’ve officially proven that Knights are just as good at cultivating the land as they are at defending it! #KnightPride #SchoolGarden #HarvestVictory #RootedInCommunity #FromSeedToShield

Painting a picture of Mrs. Lyons is like trying to catch a rainbow—there’s just so much to admire! If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting her, you know exactly why. She’s a bold, caring, and genuine whirlwind of joy, spreading her contagious smile like confetti. She lifts everyone up, making us all feel like rock stars. To celebrate our fabulous principal, students and teachers scribbled down all the amazing things they adore about her, and we turned the hallway into a glowing tribute of positivity! #UKnighted #PrincipalsDay

Congratulations to the 5th-grade Visual Art student Annabelle Hardin!
This year's exhibition expands to four works per grade, Kindergarten through 12th grade, with a total of 52 works in the selection.
"Now in its 65th year, the Young Arkansas Artists (YAA) exhibition continues its tradition of honoring the imagination and talent of students and educators across the state. This milestone recognizes generations of young artists whose work reveals the exploration and determination that begin in the classroom and extend far beyond it. The exhibition also highlights Arkansas art educators, who play a central role in this legacy. Their guidance shapes students’ skills, nurtures creativity, and inspires young artists to pursue their ideas with confidence. Together, the artworks selected each year demonstrate the breadth of artistic expression found throughout Arkansas and the innovative, thoughtful approaches students bring to every medium."

Send help! The students have realized they won't see the teachers for a week and they aren't taking it well.
This is your friendly reminder that Spring Break is March 20th - 27th. But don't worry students, we promise to come back!

5th grade students took our arguments to the courtroom last week. Each lawyer team represented either the prosecution or defense of programs and people from our text, "Orphan Train Rider." They also served on the jury and had to analyze responses for clear points, evidence, and explanations. #MultiSensoryLearning #DepthOfKnowledge #CultureForLearning
