On October 29-30, Dr. Herring-Watson from the University of Central Arkansas joined Ms. Forrest and 6th grade Champions students for two days of tech-enhanced and engaging learning! On-level students used their knowledge of unit rate to find the best buy for Halloween candy and created advertisements on Canva or Clips. Advanced students created tutorial videos on Google Slides describing how to divide fractions. #DepthOfKnowledge #CultureForLearning

At Old High we offer more than just traditional learning. We offer hands on multi-sensory learning to create a depth of knowledge. Plus, being able to access all of Downtown Bentonville makes everything more real and tangible. These pictures show just a few of the incredible learning experiences our students enjoyed during Club Day today. It doesn't get much better than this!!

November 3-7 is National School Psychology Week (NSPW), a time to appreciate school psychologists and their role in helping kids and teens thrive. They work with families, teachers, and others to create safe and supportive learning spaces that link home, school, and community. Their skills in mental health, learning, and behavior help kids succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.
This year’s theme, **“Finding Your Path,”** underscores how school psychologists guide people in their communities to learn and grow in ways that fit their needs. With their knowledge and training, they help others set goals and find their way, offering tools to support success.
It’s a joy to honor our school psychologist; she contributes incredible support to Old High, and we truly couldn't thrive without her! Thank you for everything Megan Roberts! #UKnighted #CultureForLearning

We explored light painting in Mrs. Rowan's tech class today! These are just a few examples of the creative ways students captured and painted with light recorded by a DSLR camera. We even captured the light pattern from an ozobot! #MultiSensoryLearning
