🌱✨ Learning comes alive in the garden! ✨🌱
Our 5th grade social studies students are sharpening their map skills with a hands-on activity in the school garden. 🗺️ From plotting garden beds to identifying landmarks, they’re connecting classroom lessons to the world around them. Big thanks to Ms. Pollitt for making geography both fun and meaningful!

Mrs. Hoisington, Mr. Sheehan, Mrs. Rowan, and Mrs. Johnson hosted the final Film and Editing Club meeting in the library. We were excited to learn from our guests Mr. Damon Epps and Mr. Clint Musslewhite. Their presentation was entitled "Telling Stories." They talked about their respective experiences in sports broadcasting, television production, filming, and editing. The presentation helped culminate our learning about layering of elements, persistence, failure to succeed, and practical tips for filming and editing. We also discussed how film and editing impacts all types of jobs and industries and the importance of story telling through media in all walks of life. Thank you, gentlemen, for investing in our students' (and our leaders') learning.

Join us for the OHMS Talent Show on Friday, May 23rd, at 8:30 AM & 1:05 PM. All performances will take place during both showings. Families are welcome to attend!
