Dear Parents and Guardians:
Can you believe we are already in our last month of school? We have so many things to celebrate this year. We have enjoyed our time with our little ones and we are looking forward to a fantastic last month of school. We will have no school on May 27th for Memorial Day, however the last day of school is Thursday, May 30th!
New Playground
We are excited about our newest addition. You may have noticed all the construction on the playground. Our new inclusive playground will be complete very soon. This playground was purchased with our Arkansas Rewards Recognition funds and will be geared more toward our K-2 students. We plan to have a ribbon cutting for the opening during first grade recess once it is completed.
Volunteer Appreciation
We want to show our appreciation to all of our PTO members and volunteers who have given their time and service to Willowbrook. Please join us for a Volunteer Appreciation Tea on May 23rd. Invitations will be coming soon.

First day of school is Wednesday, August 14th!!
Fall Break is October 21st - 22nd.
Thanksgiving Break is November 25th - 29th.
Winter Break is December 23rd - January 3rd
Spring Break is March 24th - 28th.
Mental Health Awareness
In 2023, the Arkansas legislature declared that public schools recognize the first full week in May as Mental Health Awareness Week. This year, that will be May 6-10, 2024. Please see the daily tips you can try with your child to help with mental health and wellness. Additionally, our school counselors, Amie Armstrong and Nicole Short, would love to partner with our families!
