Willowbrook Named a Model PLC at Work® School — Again! 🎉
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with our Willowbrook families — Willowbrook Elementary has once again been recognized as a Model Professional Learning Community (PLC) at Work® School! 🌟
This national recognition from Solution Tree celebrates schools that demonstrate a deep commitment to continuous growth, collaboration, and results for all students. Only about 600 schools across the U.S. and Canada hold this distinction — and Willowbrook is proud to be one of them!
Being a Model PLC at Work® means our teachers and staff work together every day with one clear goal: to ensure all students learn at high levels. Teams meet regularly to review student data, share strategies, and plan instruction that meets the needs of every learner. This process helps us create a culture where learning is visible, collaboration is the norm, and every child is known and supported.
This renewal of our Model PLC status confirms what we already know — that Willowbrook is a place where “All Learners Grow Every Day.” 💙
We’re so proud of our teachers, staff, and students for their commitment to learning and teamwork. And of course, we’re deeply grateful to our families — your encouragement, partnership, and belief in our mission make all the difference.

📸 Fall Picture Retake & Class Picture Day – Wednesday, November 5
Students who missed fall pictures or need a retake will have another opportunity. Class pictures will also be taken this day. Please see attachments.
🏈 Tailgate Together – Friday, November 7
Join us for Tailgate Together from 5:00–6:15 p.m. at the BWHS Baseball/Softball Complex before the BHS vs. BWHS game!
🧼 Keep It Clean Drive – Friday, November 7
Support our annual Keep It Clean personal care donation drive benefiting Bentonville students in need. Items such as deodorant, laundry detergent, and toothpaste may be dropped off at school or brought to the Tailgate Together event. Look for a donation box at Willowbrook marked with the Keep It Clean sign! Please see attachments.
US Veterans Day Program – Tuesday, November 11
Willowbrook will honor our veterans with a special third-grade music program at 6:00 p.m. Families are also invited to view student-created Veterans Day Tribute posters displayed in a gallery walk. Learn more about how to create a tribute from the following attachment.
💙 World Diabetes Day – Thursday, November 14
We’ll wear blue to raise awareness for World Diabetes Day.
🦃 Thanksgiving Break – Monday, November 24–Friday, November 28
School will be closed for Thanksgiving Break. We hope everyone enjoys time with family and friends!
