Dan Eddy, computer science teacher at Fulbright Junior High School, is our March Extra Mile Award recipient. After seeing a void in the field of robotics, Dan created a robotics program and team at Fulbright in 2014 and won an Arkansas State Championship that same year. His teams went on to win state every year until 2022 and have also been recognized nationally.
After 28 years of service, Dan will retire in May, but his contributions won’t soon be forgotten. His students are changing our world through their commitments to engineering, computer science and robotics.

Mrs. Cawein’s Leadership and Service Learning students have been hard at work organizing a food drive and getting food boxes ready for families in need. We are so proud of the work they have done.
Also, thank you to our local Walmart Neighborhood Market on Regional Airport. They donated hams for the boxes. We are grateful for their support.

The Fulbright Junior High Dance Team performed at Wake-up Willowbrook this week!
We love having BHS and BWHS Navy JROTC students in the building ♥️ they have been speaking to our CTE classes and might be challenging a few students to some pushups!
The FJHS MathCounts team had very strong performances in the NW Chapter Competition. Our school team finished first overall. We also had several students have strong finishes individually.

If your 8th grader is interested in signing up for NWACC concurrent credit classes in the 9th grade, there are a few items that need to be done.
Representatives from the high school will come to the junior highs in March/April to give the Accuplacer Reading test to ensure your student qualifies.

He is currently training to be Fulbright’s Therapy Dog. Once he is fully trained, he will join our counseling team serving our building everyday.
