Students and Families,
Welcome to Gateway! My name is Brittany Haden, and I am honored to serve as the new principal of Gateway for the 2025-2026 school year. I am excited to join this incredible school community and to continue the important work of supporting students on their journey toward success.
Gateway is a fantastic school environment with a close-knit team of teachers, staff, students, and families who are all invested in helping every student grow and thrive. It feels like a family, and I am proud to now be a part of it.
As the new principal, my vision is for Gateway to become the best alternative school in the state by providing exceptional interventions and support for students. This year, we will:
Create more opportunities for students to share their voice and help shape our school community.
Strengthen positive behavior supports and cultivate leadership spaces for students.
Offer pathways for students to earn post-secondary credits and certifications through partnerships with Northwest Arkansas Technical Institute in areas such as welding, automotive, and more.
Throughout the year, we will welcome students who are ready to take the next step toward graduation and prepare for life beyond high school. Every decision we make will be guided by what is best for students, ensuring Gateway remains a place where they can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Gateway team is excited about what’s ahead, and I look forward to working with you in the months and years to come. Together, we will make Gateway a model for alternative education across Arkansas.
