The International School at Mary Mae Jones had a special guest on Friday! We have another coming this week! Who could it be?
Friday was Club Day! The International Club played a game of Loteria de Navidad. The Play-Doh Club created artistic masterpieces. Yoga Club learned some techniques with Coach Johnson. The Friendship Bracelet Club worked hard to make bracelets for themselves and others. It was a great day!
Mr. B and the First Grade Classes put on a great performance of Sneezy the Snowman. The students sang and played the drums and xylophones, and many had speaking parts. It was a wonderful night!
Congratulations to all our homeroom class Spelling Bee winners! After many rounds of spelling, Sania placed second and first place was Avirup.
In January, Avirup will represent The International School at Mary Mae Jones in the Benton County Spelling Bee. We are proud of all of our spellers!

2023 is quickly coming to an end, and we would love to see you at the last PTO meeting of the year! Our December PTO Meeting has been updated to December 12th, at 5:30 p.m. If you are not able to attend in person, not a problem! We will have a Google Meet you can join.
We are doing a fundraiser in PE to purchase new helmets for our Bike Program. Our current helmets are over 10 years old so we need to purchase new ones. We are raising funds in partnership with Can’d Aid, a non-profit that donated 105 bikes last year to our first graders. We are looking to raise $2100 and need your help. You can donate as little or as much as you can and share the link with friends and family to donate. Thanks for all your help!

Third Grade and Mr. Barnett put on a wonderful Veterans Day performance last night. Our students did a great job! Thank you to all who served and are serving!
October was Principal Appreciation Month and we have one of the BEST to celebrate! Thanks a million for walking into Mary Mae Jones, Dr. Awesome Wasem! Our staff and students are so thankful for your leadership, guidance, and positivity within our school and outside of our school! We are so thankful for you!
