What a busy and amazing week at The International School at Mary Mae Jones! One of our 4th-grade classes presented a check to the Down Syndrome Foundation, our kindergarteners had cap and gown pictures, and we had our Friday morning meeting. We celebrated student achievement during our weekly meeting and staff shout-outs. It's always a great way to end our week!

We had another wonderful Friday Morning Meeting! These meetings are the highlight of our week because we all gather together and celebrate one another. First grade also took their math lesson outside today. What a fun way to engage our learners! We hope your Friday was as great as ours!

We are excited to see everyone tomorrow!

We hope to see you!

Enjoy your week!

We had a great week celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness! Our students learned all about Down Syndrome and met some new friends from the Down Syndrome Connection of NWA.

The International School at Mary Mae Jones had a wonderful group of staff nominated by their peers for Teacher of the Year and Classified Employee. During our Friday Morning Meeting, we pulled off a HUGE surprise with the help of their families. The International School at Mary Mae Jones Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Michelle Rudder and the Classified Employee of the Year is Ms. Ruby Hurtado Salinas! Congratulations and thank you for all you do for our school!

The pure JOY these boys had when Mrs. Hissong (Kindergarten) let them choose a chapter book that they will read after they finish their Lexia each week. She let them decorate a bookmark and it was amazing to see the boys' love for books and reading!

We're excited to see you!

Another Friday Morning Meeting and lots of fun! Hannah shared her dance talent with us. She was amazing! RJ and Ms. Marr were recognized for the IB Learner Trait of Caring. They both go out of their way every day to make sure others feel safe, included and loved. We also presented awards to a great group of students. We love our Friday Morning Meetings!

Mark your calendars to attend!

First Graders are exploring the habitat around our school. They are looking for examples of food and shelter. What a fun way to bring learning to life!

WOW, these kindergarteners are working so hard! It's so exciting to walk into their classroom and see everyone sitting around the room enjoying a book and developing a love of reading! We are so proud!

Mark your calendars for the Gold Rush! Information will be coming home soon about Running Club.
