Virtual Families,
We are excited to welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year! To help everyone get off to a strong start, we want to share a few important updates and reminders:
📅 Virtual Open House and Virtual Boot Camp
Join us for Open House on Monday, August 11th, from 4:00–6:00 PM and the Virtual Bootcamp on Tuesday, August, 12th from 9:00-1:00.
✅ Action Items Before School Starts
To ensure a smooth start to the year, please take a moment to complete the following:
Log into eTrieve and complete all new forms for your student (directions for logging in).
Click on this link to fill out the Free and Reduced Lunch Application and select “Apply for Benefits” (this must be completed each year). Paper copies can be picked up at Open House.
If your student is eligible for F/R lunch, he/she is also eligible for other benefits, such as free ACT testing (once per year in grades 11 and 12), some free concurrent credit courses in high school, college application assistance, etc..
Year-At-A-Glance is a one stop shop for all the important dates throughout the school year that you do not want to miss! In addition to the district events, we will keep all Virtual events updated on our school website and send out regular updates through a weekly memo that will be sent out to the email and text number in eSchool.
The state has made changes to high school student access to college courses. Check out this letter in regard to NWACC courses to learn more!
📵 Bell to Bell No Cell Act
This year, Arkansas has implemented the Bell to Bell No Cell Act, which requires students to have their phones silenced and put away during the school day. This will look a little different for Virtual students, but the expectation is that cell phones are not seen or heard during synchronous learning.
We are looking forward to seeing you at Open House, Virtual Bootcamp and partnering with you throughout the year to support your student’s success. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
