A Great Start!
We’ve had an incredible start to the school year, and it’s been wonderful seeing our students settle into routines. If you ever have questions or need to connect, you can always reach out to your child’s teacher or our office through School Status.

Quick Updates & Reminders:

  • Please see the attached PTO Newsletter.

  • Weather & Recess – Please review our

    weather and recess guidelines

to know how conditions may impact outdoor play.

  • Teacherease & Grading – Stay informed about grades and progress by reviewing our

    Teacherease grading information

    .

  • Spirit Wear – Students in grades 1–4 can show their Willowbrook pride by

    ordering spirit wear

. Orders are available in house colors or favorite colors. Store closes Sept. 8th. Kindergarten families will receive a separate order from your child's teacher.

  • Volunteer Training - Parents and/or guardians may attend our volunteer training at the next PTO meeting. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to take our virtual volunteer training in the front office. Just call us to set up an appointment. Virtual training will be available by Monday, August 25th.

  • Fall Picture Day - Fall picture day is September 17. See the attached flyers. This

    link

will allow parents to sign up to receive email updates about their child's school portraits after picture day. When entering student information, parents should be sure to enter the student's name as it is on file at the school.

  • Art Class -

This year, I have listed some consumable art supplies with

    Donor's Choose

. If you or your family would like to pick an item from the list for the art department, the students and I would be very grateful.

    Thank you, Mrs. Moe

  • STEM Lab - Welcome to STEM Lab!
This year in STEM Lab, students will have the opportunity to dive deeper into their science standards while making connections to CKLA literacy units. Through engaging, hands-on activities, they’ll explore what STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math—really means and how it connects to the world around them. From building and experimenting to problem-solving and designing, students will discover how STEM skills are used in everyday life, all while fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Thanks, Miss. Sabatini

  • Discovery Program – A reminder that the Discovery Before & After School Program has set drop-off and pick-up times for safety and accountability. Communication is coming soon from Discovery staff as well regarding drop off and pick-up.

    • No drop-offs after 7:25am

    • No pick-ups before 3:00pm
Parents/guardians should also avoid being in the back during arrival and dismissal, as this creates unsafe conditions and makes it difficult to account for students.

As always if you have any questions or concerns please contact our front office staff and administrators. We are happy to help. Looking forward to a fantastic school year.
