The Wild West was a tough life, but second graders at Central Park Elementary School were all smiles today as they studied these early American pioneers. Students dressed the part today to wrap up their studies on the Westward Expansion. They celebrated with beans, bread and cowboy music. If you're one of their family members, ask them why pioneers traveled west and about The Pony Express and The Trail of Tears. At last night's Bentonville West versus Bentonville basketball game, students from both high schools brought every new stocking you can imagine for a mid-game sock throw!
