Students collaborate to solve problems, write resolution papers, and make speeches to persuade others to approve their directives. Way to go students in Mr. Rankin's Visual Art 2 and 3 classes who recently completed a series of studies followed by a final painting in either acrylic or oil. The subject was glass objects and included lessons on drawing, color theory, composition, and painting techniques. Fantastic job!

This awesome work is by Audrey Martin. Audrey is a junior and is currently in Mr. Rankin's AP 2D Design class. She says "I really love drawing little doodles and experimenting with funky perspectives points so I’ve had this idea in mind for a while. I mixed realism with my own style & I really enjoyed making this; I’m really happy with how it turned out"!

Last week, Bentonville High School AP Research students joined students from Bentonville West for a research poster symposium at the Heartland Whole Health Institute. We are so thankful for the Institute's partnership and their beautiful venue, which provided our students the chance to defend their research proposals before an audience of their peers and community members.

What an incredible day at the 2025 Business Women’s Conference – Blueprint to Her Brilliance in Bentonville, AR! From inspiring keynotes and actionable breakout sessions to powerful conversations and amazing new connections, this event — presented by Walmart and hosted by the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce — delivered motivation, insight, and community for women in business and leadership.

Mrs. Lewis and Ms. Pense had the honor of attending with a few of their Business/Internship students. The students LOVED it and are excited for their future in business! Thank you to the Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce for this empowering experience!

BHS A/V students had an incredible day exploring the world of professional content creation! They toured Walmart’s brand-new video production studio, talked shop with the Walmart Radio crew, and then swung by Go Rogue Studios to get hands-on with their podcasting setup. Our students got a first-hand look at what it’s like to produce content for both a major corporation and a small creative business — an inspiring day for our future storytellers! 🎥🎙✨

BHS Introduction to Healthcare students spent the day exploring real world medical settings at Mercy NW. They visited key departments, including NICU, Cardiology/Neurology, Med/Surg, and Laboratory, to learn how different healthcare teams work together to care for patients.

Out of respect for patients and families, and with a full understanding of HIPAA, no photos from inside patient care areas are included - but the learning was unforgettable! #BentonvilleSchools, #BentonvillHIghSchool, #BentonvilleCTE, #IntrotoHealthcare, #MercyNorthwest
