October was Principal Appreciation Month and we have one of the BEST to celebrate! Thanks a million for walking into Mary Mae Jones, Dr. Awesome Wasem! Our staff and students are so thankful for your leadership, guidance, and positivity within our school and outside of our school! We are so thankful for you!

Julia Hardin was recognized as the KLRC Teacher of the Week! She was on the radio this morning, too! We appreciate all the wonderful things she leads at MMJ. She's a true champion for all students and staff!



Congratulations to one of our school counselors, Anna Simmons, for her recognition this morning as a recipient of an Arvest We Love Teachers Award. We appreciate everything she does for our campus!

Shelby Rogers and Reagan Guess, two of our wonderful IGNITE interns joined us for behavior RTI meetings this morning. They did great! Shelby and Reagan are pictured with their mentors, Ms. Tarp and Ms. Clark.


We would like to thank all our families who participated in our MMJ Family & Fun Engagement Learning Night! Our school was PACKED with MMJ staff and families! It was a wonderful night of community learning!




Mary Mae Jones will have a Girls on the Run team this year! We are looking for any 3rd or 4th-grade girls who want to join us for some running fun. You do not need to be a strong runner, just come equipped with a positive attitude! Our team will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4:00 p.m. All students will need to have transportation at 4:00 p.m. to participate. Please get in touch with Ms. Simmons with any questions.
