We had our first PTO meeting of the year last night. Our wonderful PTO board has many great events planned for this school year and could use your help. Please use the QR code to join PTO or stop by and visit with them at OpenHouse on Thursday, August 10th. Our next PTO Meeting is September 5th, at 5:30 p.m.

K Open House - Students in Kindergarten - Last Name Ends with A-M
1:30 p.m. Parent Meeting with Principals (Location: Cafeteria)
1:45 p.m. Fill Out Documentation, then Meet the Teacher
Dismiss to Kona Ice Outside

Our 1st - 4th Grade Open House is 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
This is a come-and-go event.
There will be a Parent Meeting with the Principal at 4:15 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. These are completely voluntary. You only need to attend one. Feel free to come to one before or after you meet your teacher. The purpose will be to go over basic information about MMJ and meet the principal.
Class Lists will post on Thursday, August 10th at 4:00 p.m.

Our staff is excited for the school year to begin! Dr. Wasem jumped in to help Mrs. Cox & Mrs. Gormley with our letters for all our families. Be on the lookout for a Welcome Letter from Dr. Wasem and Mrs. Gunter.
Our first PTO Meeting of the 2023-2024 school year will be held on August 1 at 5:30 pm.
Today was a great day for the staff of MMJ! Numerous teachers and staff loaded a bus and drove through our MMJ neighborhoods. We spent this time visiting with new and old friends and learning about our students. We are so excited about the upcoming school year!
Congratulations to our Classifieds Staff Member of the Year, Jennifer Ortiz and our Teacher of the Year, Holly Johnson from kindergarten. We are so grateful to have you both at Mary Mae Jones. Your dedication, positive attitudes, and love for our kids are just a few reasons why we love you so much!
