We've struck gold with our incredible team of counselors! A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Krummen, Ms. Hamaker, and Ms. Murdock for your unwavering dedication to every student. Your wisdom and guidance are invaluable to us each day, and we truly couldn't do it without you.

At OHMS, we enjoy adding a touch of fun to our days. Last week we held a Super Secret Teacher Spirit Week. We managed to keep it under wraps until Friday, when all the staff arrived dressed as students!






Every March, Youth Art Month (YAM) encourages support for quality school art programs and promotes art material safety. Art educators across Arkansas are encouraged to enter student work based on the theme. This year's theme is "Healing Through Color." OHMS 6th grader, Abby Bird, was celebrated at the 29th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at Walmart's Home Office on January 15 for her winning essay describing how we can live out MLK's legacy in our community. Abby presented an initiative to help middle school students feel included and supported by peers during this difficult age.
