Thank you to everyone who helped make Choose Love Day a success! Shout out to PTO for the great breakfast provided to teachers and the beautiful Choose Love themed balloon arch. Thank you Camp War Eagle friends for leading some fun Choose Love activities with our students and staff. Last but not least, so much appreciation for Mrs. Moore, our Cub Council students, staff, and parents who helped to run our booth on the Bentonville Square tonight. Thomas Jefferson Elemtary students are recognizing National Bullying Prevention month. Counseling lessons in October will focus on bully prevention and building empathy. In addition, throughout the school year 4th grade has a SMART goal to grow their understanding of the differences between rude, mean, and bullying by 5% on a post test. This will be done through guidance lessons and support from our school counselor Mrs. Moore over the course of the year.
