🎩☕🐇 Wonderland came to 3rd grade! 🐇☕🎩
Our students wrapped up the CKLA Classic Tales Unit with an unforgettable Alice in Wonderland Tea Party Day! Teachers dressed up, classrooms were transformed, and students showed off their best tea party outfits.
From reading about Alice’s Mad Hatter adventure and discussing theme and personification, to writing imaginative stories, tackling math arrays and division, exploring weather hazards, and even building Wonderland towers — it was a magical day of learning, laughter, and creativity.

Congratulations to August's Soaring Eagle Award Winners. These students were great examples of the BIG Three: treating others right, making smart decisions and maximizing their potential. Way to go!

Our second graders just wrapped up an exciting Fairy Tale and Tall Tale unit! 📚✨ Throughout the unit, students explored the unique characteristics that define these imaginative and fictional stories. They practiced retelling classic tales by creating creative and colorful story boxes, bringing their favorite characters and events to life. As part of a fun STEM challenge, they designed and built sturdy pens for Babe the Blue Ox, inspired by the legendary tall tale of Paul Bunyan. To top it all off, they celebrated their learning with a magical dress-up day—bringing fairy tales and tall tales to life in the classroom! 🐂👑📖
