Our students and staff love having our school resource officer, Officer Cook, on campus with us here at AAMS. He is a wonderful role model and makes positive connections with our students.
The SRO assignment is unique within the law enforcement profession. These officers fill a three-part role, serving as informal mentors or counselors, law educators and law enforcement officers to support the students and communities they serve. They are valuable and essential members of the education community who deserve unwavering respect and support from the public in the pursuit of keeping schools and students safe.
Thank you Officer Cook for helping to keep our school safe and helping to establish positive relationships between law enforcement and our community.

Next Week is National School Counseling Week. Help our School Counselors promote mental health with a fun Spirit Week next week.
Daily announcements will remind our students what School Counselors do and how they can help.

It's official! Spring is right around the corner...
Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow in front of thousands of spectators this Friday morning at Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. This means, according to the legend, we are in for an early spring!
This marks the first time since 2020 that Phil predicted an early spring, and the 21st time since records were kept.
Upcoming Events for February!

Spring Picture Day! Thursday, Feb. 22nd
A photographer from Strawbridge Studios will be at AAMS on February 22nd to photograph our Spring Pictures.
See attached fliers for more information.

Coffee and Conversation with Principal McAuliffe is still on for tomorrow. Please come join us here at AAMS at 9:00am for Coffee and Conversation with Principal McAuliffe. Come in and warm up!
