Bentonville High School on The Hill! BHS student and HOSA state officer, Manasvita Gottipati traveled to Washington D.C. for the prestigious Washington Leadership Conference (WLC).
This action-packed experience teaches HOSA leaders to be better advocates for the organization's mission through dynamic workshops and interactive activities. It's the highest level of leadership development for future health professionals, and we couldn't be more excited to see her represent our community on a national stage. #BentonvilleHighSchool #BentonvilleSchools #BentonvilleTigers #HOSA #FutureHealthProfessionals #ArkansasHOSA #ArkansasCTE #WashingtonLeadershipConference #HOSALeadership #HOSAadvocacy

On October 7th, all high school students will be engaged in important state testing and graduation requirement activities. To support a smooth testing day, we kindly ask that once students arrive at school, parents avoid checking them out unless they have a previously scheduled appointment. Students need to bring their charged district issued device.

Last week Mrs. Lewis and Mr. Reynolds took students to the Embark Summit and Consumer Impact Summit. Students heard from industry professionals on the challenges facing major brands and retailers in various areas like sustainable packaging, corporate social responsibility, and leveraging data to learn what your consumer wants and values in their products.
Huge thank you to Josh Stanley with Fieldbook Studio and Bryan Welch with Consumer Impact Summit for allowing our students to attend.

We hope you will join the discussion about Class Rank at our public forum on Tuesday, September 23. Please visit the link below to learn more! https://tinyurl.com/46c2rw7w

Mrs. Melanie Woody was recognized last night at the Bentonville Schools Board Meeting. She is a 17-year veteran of Bentonville Schools, serving as an AP Psychology teacher at BHS. "Melanie Woody is my child's teacher and to say that she has taken my daughter under her wing is an understatement. She works to ensure my daughter excels academically but also by making sure she is thriving in every other way! She has shown up for my daughter and so many others over the years." - Shannon Finer, Lincoln Junior High School
It's an honor to celebrate Mrs. Woody with the Extra Mile Award! Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Woody!

AP Physics II students have been tasked with many challenges. Even on the first day they faced complex strategy investigations regarding thermodynamics, one being a murder mystery!
They have done an amazing job presenting their ideas in conquering those challenges in our white BOARD meetings. These students work so hard and are definitely going places! #apphysics2 #physicsfun #thermodynamics
