BHS Foundations of Healthcare students experienced the amazing world of ultrasound thanks to Dr. Kevin Phelan, a neurobiologist with UAMS! He explained how this incredible technology works and brought a portable ultrasound machine, giving students the chance to see real organs and body systems in action. Dr. Phelan also highlighted the diverse medical professions that utilize ultrasound for patient diagnostics. A huge thank you to Dr. Phelan for this hands-on learning opportunity! #BentonvilleSchools #BentonvilleHighSchool #UAMS #UAMSNW #NIAID #NIH #ArkansasDepartmentofCareerandTechnicalEducation #HealthcareEducation #Ultrasound #MedicalDiagnostics

Kicking off the year strong in the Agriculture department! We had a blast at the Battle Town CDE, where 40 of our talented students showed up and gave it their all! Big shoutout to one of our very own who qualified for State LDEs! 🏅
The hustle doesn't stop – our Blue & Gold Fundraising is in full swing, and it’s going on until the 20th! Don’t miss out! 💙💛
And last but not least, our students have been getting hands-on with incubating and hatching chicks 🐣. Excited to see where this year takes us! #ffa #whereexcellencelives #BHSFFA #handsonlearning

Huge thanks to the Bentonville Fire Department for an incredible hands-on learning experience with our Foundations of Healthcare students!
