Last week BHS students had the privilege to hear from supply chain professionals from our region on the topic of "Build or Buy? Supply Chain Innovations". The engagement provided key insights to BHS business and technology students interested in the dynamic field of supply chain management.
Huge thank you goes out to JD Cooper and the entire Ozark CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) for hosting this insightful session for our students. This type of commitment and support is truly what makes Bentonville Schools, Where Excellence Lives!
We would also like to thank our panel, Adam Jones with Plug and Play, Sri Thirumali with Walmart Last Mile Delivery, and Phil Shellhammer with the University of Arkansas Entrepreneurship and Innovation department.

Today our Summer of Service students got to volunteer at Cobblestone Farms, a local farm that provides farm to table produce for food pantries throughout NWA. Students learned about propagating, determinate vs. indeterminate plants, and what natural pesticides can be used to ensure a healthy garden. Not only did BHS/BWHS students learn about the farm to table process, they also got to plant seedlings that will eventually go on the feed their community. We truly are better together!
