Last week the Chemistry of Food classes at BWHS and BHS visited the Dale Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food and Life Sciences. They took a tour of the buildings and saw several labs and watched 2000lbs of apple butter being processed.

Our panel guests work in industries ranging all the way from the corporate world to digital media and marketing to stand up comedy in order to highlight how (sometimes unexpectedly) writing persists as an essential skill in the workplace, and several of these professionals will host targeted small group sessions during flex time immediately following the panel. After lunch, we'll hear from a New York Times bestselling author about his path to writing professionally. Marketing Business Enterprise and Digital Marketing classes attended the Ozark Media Arts Festival on Wednesday & Thursday and we had two groups complete in the Social Media Instagram Challenge and they both placed. The group of boys placed 2nd and the mixed group placed 3rd.
