Congratulations to Heidi Hunt, Mallory Marrs, Peyton Waganer, Ellis-Kate Bradshaw, Josiah Tittel, and Maddie Hazen, who competed last week in Hot Springs at the FCCLA Arkansas STAR Events. All 6 came back with Silver and Gold Medals!
A special congratulations to Heidi, Peyton, Mallory, and Josiah for getting the top scores in their respective events and will now be representing Arkansas at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Seattle!!!

The inaugural season for the BWHS Chess Team ended with a State Championship win on Saturday, March 30th. The event was hosted by the Chess Association for Arkansas Schools (C.A.A.S) in North Little Rock.





Retired veterans with 20 years of service in the Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard can serve with us in Bentonville, Arkansas as an NJROTC Instructor or Lead Instructor. NJROTC is a program for teaching citizenship to our next generation of leaders. Please share or contact us.

BWHS ProStart Culinary Competition team is working hard to prepare for the National Competition in Baltimore on April 26-28. We had to make some changes to our dessert and photograph it again (plates presented at the competition have to match the picture). We were on the hunt for edible flowers and Mount Olive Farms were there to help us out. Data Analytics Boot Camp Scholarships for Arkansans ages 18-24 (18 YO by August 9). Classes are June 3 - August 9.


The Family & Consumer Science classes delivered hand-sewn monsters designed by the Kindergarteners at CGES. It was so fun to see the joy on all their faces!




Two teams from Bentonville West High School recently competed at the Arkansas Economics Challenge at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. One of our two teams won first place in the Team Presentation event and first place overall in the Adam Smith Division. This team also qualified for the Semi-Finals National Challenge in April. This is the fourth time BWHS has competed and placed in the Arkansas Economics Challenge.

The newly relaunched BWHS Quiz Bowl team placed fourth in the NWA Regional Tournament on Saturday, March 2, at Rogers High School. This was the first tournament for the team this year, and the first time most of them had ever competed in an official Quiz Bowl event. #clawsup
