Reminder! New Student Orientation is from 9:00-12:00 tomorrow. Students can enter through the main entrance. Our student leaders have been working hard to guarantee a fun and memorable experience. We hope to see you tomorrow!
All students that are new to West (9th grade and new to the area) are invited to attend orientation on Monday, August 12 from 9:00-12:00.
Students will learn all about Bentonville West from those that know it best: our students! All students attending this event will receive a free West t-shirt and lunch courtesy of our friends at Flintco and Arvest Bank. Parents received an email with more information on New Student Orientation on 8/6.

Congratulation to BWHS/Virtual teacher Kembra Mathis, who was recently inducted in the Arkansas Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame! Her dedication to her students, athletes, and the field of athletic training make her more than worthy of the honor!
Last month, rising sophomore Cami Gonzalez competed in a nationally recognized Junior Pickleball competition in Texas and won in both Singles and Mixed.
At BWHS, Cami plays varsity tennis, but she’s representing Arkansas pickeball well! Congratulations Cami!
Class of 2023 graduate Dawson Price, who played Wovlerine baseball and basketball, was a 20th round draft pick by the Detroit Tigers last week! Congratulations, Dawson!
The Summer of Service program came to a close with students working with the Bentonville Parks and Recreation Arborist Geoff Braga to learn about the importance of tree preservation and care. This week, students also visited The Pack Shack, Helping Hands, and made dog/cat toys for Best Friends Animal Rescue.
Thank you to all of our Summer of Service participants and the community service partners that made the program possible.
Students from BHS/BWHS acquired over 1,500 service hours and experienced, first hand, the value of giving back to the community. We truly are better together!
