🎨We love seeing all the creativity that went into these amazing boxes! 🎨

Rosie helped us spread the love today as staff and students rocked their red in support of heart health. From big smiles to wagging tails, it was a perfect reminder that taking care of our hearts—through kindness, movement, and healthy choices—matters every day.
Thanks for showing your heart, everyone! 🐾❤️ #HeartHealth #WearRed

Our students will design quilt squares that will be sewn into a larger installation celebrating the Semiquincentennial (ask Mr. Timbrel for a pronunciation tip!). Led by St. Louis artist Basil Kincaid, this community-driven project includes quilt squares from students across the state — and you’ll see work by our very own Sugar Creek Arts Academy students.
The installation will explore independence, civic identity, and our shared history. Stay tuned for dates and program details — we can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎨🧵✨

They classified rock samples by type, igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic! They also looked at samples of unidentified rocks, fossils, and other specimens.

His responsibility, kindness, and positive attitude toward learning make him shine.

Today was the kickoff for our All Bentonville Reads, a month-long community event that ends with a celebration at Crystal Bridges on March 1st, from 12-4 pm.
Every student got a book today and a bookmark with the reading schedule. They will have tons of opportunities to earn prizes for reading.
Short on time? Click here and listen to the audio in the car on the way to school. Each chapter only takes 5-6 minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqD7CewaGzo&list=PL8Lys5-1ixgM3FopE2abXzjchPRh8VkjK&index=3
Happy Reading!

Thank you to everyone who gave. This money will be used well, putting books in the hands of our students all summer long!

Here is what her teacher said about her: Ava is a phenomenal person inside and out — a true shining STAR. She works hard regardless of the challenge and consistently brings a positive, can-do attitude. Her smile brightens the room and she’s always willing to help teachers and peers without hesitation. Ava’s dedication, kindness, and teamwork make her an outstanding member of our classroom family.
Keep shining bright Ava! 🌟

❄️ Thank you Mr. Antuna for braving the cold temps to walk with the students. ❄️

A big thank you to Eloise and Louisa—and to their parents and families—for supporting the Sugar Creek Arts Academy PTO. They are naturals, helping keep students safe, spending time with teachers and classmates, and learning the ins and outs of the school office. We’re so grateful for their energy and enthusiasm! 💛🏫 #SugarCreekArtsAcademy #FutureLeaders #PTOThanks
