Third-grade students have been reading a collection of classic tales, including "Alice in Wonderland." They celebrated their learning with a Mad Hatter Tea Party.

Last week, Sugar Creek Stars of all ages participated in a Book Tasting event in the library. They sampled many genres of books and recorded some of their favorites.

We are proud to announce Sugar Creek's January Student of the Month, Finley! She is a kindergartener in Mrs. Phillips' class. Finley was chosen because she is always a hard worker, and goes out of her way to be helpful in the classroom. She offers to help both her teacher and her classmates. She is especially good at explaining challenging things to her friends in a kid-friendly way they can understand. Congratulations Finley!
