🎄📚 Book Character Ornament Challenge! 📚🎄
Calling all book lovers and crafty creators! This holiday season, let's combine our love for books with festive fun. Show off your creativity by making an ornament inspired by your favorite book character! 🎅🦸♀️✨

Our kindergarteners had a moo-velous time wrapping up their farming unit by getting an up-close look at Mrs. Amos' very own cow! 🐮✨ Thank you for taking time out of your day to share your knowledge!

Arkansas Farm Bureau Women’s Committee of Benton County stopped by Vaughn on Wednesday to deliver snack sticks from Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry. They came just in time to support our snack packs for kids program over Thanksgiving break. We give a huge thanks to these two organizations!

Congratulations to our amazing 4th-grade students who completed October’s Reading Challenge! These students dedicated themselves to reading 60 minutes outside of school each week, maintained excellent attendance, and demonstrated our core values of integrity, collaboration, cooperation, problem-solving, and compassion.
Their hard work and commitment were rewarded with special prize boxes, generously provided by Champions for Kids. 🏆 Thank you, Champions for Kids, for supporting our students and encouraging a love for reading!
Keep shining bright, 4th graders—we’re so proud of you! 🦅📖 #EveryEagleEveryDay #VaughnEagles

To celebrate the end of the 4th grade unit about the Middle Ages, Mrs. Perez's class held a Jousting Tournament.

We held a school-wide Book Character Election. The votes are in! Representing the Animal Party and based on the book Duck for President by Doreen Cronin...

We will be collecting items for the Keep It Clean Drive. It will be the week of Nov. 4th-8th. You may drop off items in the box located by the front office.

The Benton County Sheriff's office is hosting an informational event for parents on November 4th. Presenters will share tips for keeping your child safe on online platforms. Visit the Benton County Sheriff's Facebook page to sign up to attend this event.

🎉 Shoutout to our Vaughn Elementary Student Council! They had their first assignment representing VES at the BWHS Homecoming Parade, and they brought the spirit! Our students were all smiles, chanting "West is Best" and engaging the crowd with their enthusiasm.
Did you catch any parade photos of our Eagles in action? Drop them in the comments—we’d love to see them!

We are so excited for the Fall Carnival tonight! Please join us between 5PM and 7PM for a fun, family friendly event.
There will be food trucks and activities in the bus loop so we ask that visitors do not park there. Please do not park on the grass at Vaughn because we have a sprinkler system. We have additional parking available off of Barron Road at the Benton County Fairgrounds.

Just a reminder that we will be open after school and during the school carnival tonight!
Book fair closes at noon on Friday!
