Best of luck to our 4th grade representatives that will be participating in The Amazing Shake in Springdale today. It is an event that focuses on professional skills for success. They are great representatives for Vaughn!
Join us for our 2nd annual Family STEM Night on Thursday, April 18th from 5:00- 7:00 at the Benton Co. Fair Grounds. We will be exploring "The Way We Move" with the Amazeum, NWA Space, Garrett Lewis from OZ Weather, U of A STEM, Bentonville Police, XNA Fire and Rescue, OZ Trails Bike Safety, AR Game and Fish, Bentonville Schools Ignite, and more!
We will also have FREE helmet fittings from Sam Pearson from OZ Safety Patrol so be sure and bring you and your child's bike helmets to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
Food will be available from Kona Ice, Williams Soul Food, and Hype Coffee. You don't want to miss this event. We can't wait to see you there!!

To create 2 custom pages for your student's yearbook, yearbooks need to be ordered by April 9th! If you are having trouble finding this year's yearbook when ordering, go into “My kids” then “settings” and update the “school/year” and then enter Vaughn’s passcode and the current school year. Hope this helps!

All Bentonville Reads kicks off next Friday. We can't wait!!
Dear VES families,
Please check your child's folder this afternoon about a special fundraiser that is happening at Vaughn. Students have the opportunity to purchase either a pre-made friendship bracelet or make their own bracelet.
All funds raised will be used to sponsor a scholarship for one BWHS senior that is planning to study or work in a STEM related program after graduation. Last year during our 1st annual scholarship fundraiser, we were able to raise over $700 that went to one amazing West student! This year I'm excited to extend our support to our own students here at Vaughn (more information to come).
All orders are due by Friday, February 2nd and we will fulfill orders the first week of March.
January is National Mentoring Month. At Vaughn we have a program called Eagle Buddies. It consists of adults in the community that come a couple times a month to have lunch with a student and build connections.
