
Geology Rocks!!! Mrs. Rankin's 1st grade class had a blast ending our geology unit with crafts, digging for fossils, cracking geodes to see the crystals, creating our own fossil prints and more!






Washington Junior High Student council paid a special visit today to vote on their favorite doors for our Kindness Door Decorating Contest! At the end of their visit, they got to meet with our student council cabinet members and take a quick picture! We are thankful they came and are excited to share the results tomorrow!

2nd grade students have been learning about Van Gogh and his love of sunflowers during their Art activity time. We have some amazingly talented Grizzly students at AGE!!

Last week, our Kindergarten students participated in day fit for royalty as a part of their curriculum unit. They had a royal tea party, made crafts, and dressed up as kings, queens, and knights to complete the day.

Our 3rd graders participated in a district wide Musical Madness event yesterday at the Arend Art Center. They did a fabulous job of showcasing their vocal talents!

Kindergarten students in Ms. Lowes’s class enjoyed a day of culminating activities to end their unit on Native American studies. They “hunted for buffalo”, made and painted pottery, and played a traditional stick game with game pieces that they made.

Last quarter we had several Apple Glen Accolades that we need to recognize. We want to congratulate these Grizzlies on all of their accomplishments!!
Tydus passed his second-degree, gray white belt in jujitsu by using collaboration, perseverance and problem-solving!
Palmer traveled to Tulsa over winter break with the NWA Ice Hogs 8U Mites team. Palmer had four goals over the weekend. They went 5-1 and recorded a second place finish! He is far left in the photo with the white helmet.
Lincoln has been working really hard to improve his mountain biking skills and placed 2nd in his last Buddy Pegs race.
Tanner completed his Gold Belt in Mong Su Dom Tai.
Sara Beat her 5 k time on Goblin Run Course by 51 seconds.

3rd graders in Ms. Tschetter's and Mrs. Thayer's classes enjoyed a cooking lesson today from Apple Seeds NWA! Students learned facts about nutrition and were able to get hands-on experience making a simple healthy snack. Students took home a copy of the recipe and all the ingredients necessary to recreate their snack at home.
