Announcing the first-ever BWHS Writers Conference: On Tuesday, October 24th, we will host an all-day event in the PAC, featuring a panel discussion, breakout sessions, and a keynote by award-winning author and Arkansas native Eli Cranor (Don't Know Tough and Ozark Dogs). Our panel guests work in industries ranging all the way from the corporate world to digital media and marketing to stand up comedy in order to highlight how (sometimes unexpectedly) writing persists as an essential skill in the workplace, and several of these professionals will host targeted small group sessions during flex time immediately following the panel. After lunch, we'll hear from a New York Times bestselling author about his path to writing professionally.
