PTO meeting next week!
What a great learning experience for all!
Wow. Our PTO puts on the absolute best events! The Gator Run was so much fun. The runners did amazing, and the cheering section kept everyone going with so much positivity and joy! This Central Park school family is really something special.
Kindergators are learning all about measurement!
Ms. Hagel's class had so much fun hunting eggs last week!
Ms. Fikes' students practiced counting collections and graphing with jelly beans. How fun!
The excitement that Mrs. Benson's class showed during a math lesson on arrays this week was contagious. We love seeing our gators working hard to stay actively engaged in their learning journey!
If you need a Monday morning smile, take a look at these adorable kindergarten potatoes. We are excited to welcome students back this morning! We hope everyone enjoyed Spring Break.
For 3rd graders and their grownups this Friday!
It's Book Fair time!
Congratulations to Jody Newton and Emily Mertig! These ladies represent what makes Central Park great. Their desire to positively impact students every day is so very much appreciated!
Kindergarteners have been learning about kings and queens! Last week they celebrated all they’ve learned with a royal tea party. The students were able to have some royal snacks and learn some royal manners!
Students in Mr. Haubner's class are working hard to meet their goals! Way to go, gators!
Mrs. Hargis invited a special visitor to meet her class on Friday! Students and staff couldn't get enough of this little cutie.
This week the 2nd Grade got to celebrate winning Coin Wars! The winning grade got 1 hour per class of playing video games with their classmates. So cool!
Thank you to NWA Rolling Video Games for coming out and making this such an awesome experience for our students.
Help us stock the Animal Shelter! Also, please see the revised schedule for dress up days for next week!
Spread the word to anyone interested in working at Bentonville Schools! Ms. Bradshaw and Mrs. Smith will be at the Central Park table all day to meet and visit with interested candidates.
In digital literacy time for gator club, students have had some fun working on Valentine Pixel Art. While students may be familiar with using snap cubes (or counting blocks) to make designs, it brings the skill to whole new level digitally. Students are able to work on patterns, design thinking, mouse practice and keyboard shortcuts.
Celebrating the 100th day of school!
Today is the 99th day of school and zero the hero went missing! In order for the 100th day of school to arrive tomorrow, kindergarten students had to go on several math missions to get clues about where to find him! Luckily, zero the hero has been found and the 100th day can arrive tomorrow!
