Celebrating the 100th day of school!
Today is the 99th day of school and zero the hero went missing! In order for the 100th day of school to arrive tomorrow, kindergarten students had to go on several math missions to get clues about where to find him! Luckily, zero the hero has been found and the 100th day can arrive tomorrow!

A guest speaker from the Native American museum visited some kindergarten classrooms. She brought some artifacts that students could look at and touch. This was a great learning opportunity that goes along with the kindergarten unit of study about Native Americans.
All lost and found items will be donated if not claimed by tomorrow. Please remember to write your child's name inside all coats, jackets, and lunchboxes.

We had the opportunity for some of our staff to work with our Visible Learning coach again last week. The day was spent reflecting on the impact we have on student learning. As we work toward the designation of a Visible Learning school, our hope is to gain tools and strategies to help every student show high levels of growth.

Congratulations to Arjun Alaparthy for winning the 2023 Central Park spelling bee! He will represent our school at the Benton County Bee next month. Way to go, Arjun! We also want to recognize all of the participants who represented their classrooms in the school bee. They all did fantastic!
Let's give a huge round of applause to our third gators for putting on an amazing show for students and parents this week! Under the direction of our wonderful music teacher, Mrs. Ginger, these students performed fun songs from some of our favorite movies. These students were born to be stars!

We celebrated our kindergarten and first grade students at Gator Gathering today. A big thank you to Mrs. Stalls' class for their showcase performance, and to our student council members for leading the assemblies this week!
