Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Amanda Danenhauer and our Classified Staff Member of the Year, Leah Martin! These two ladies are invaluable members of our school family. Thank you for all you do!
Third grade parent night was a huge success! Students presented their climate projects to so many special guests. Not only did they share what they knew with their families, but with everyone else's families too! Way to go, gators!
Spirit Night is tonight! Yum!
What a SUPER time we've had over the past few weeks participating in All Bentonville Reads! The building was full of superheroes, both real-life and fictional, on Friday as we finished up spirit week. You're looking strong and brave, gators!
CPE students love to read! Look at all these book character day costumes. What fun!
Kindergarten students are currently learning all about weather! Ms. Overdorf's students became meteorologists and made wind vanes to help tell which direction the wind was going!
In December, our 1st graders completed a unit called "A Grateful Heart Can Give to Others". All of the kiddos worked very hard making Jingle Bell necklaces to sell to our school family. The 1st graders voted as a grade level to donate the money to the Centerton Animal Shelter. They we were able to present them with a check for $355!
A group of Central Park educators traveled to Conway last week to hear Dr. John Hattie talk about Visible Learning with high-impact, evidence-based teaching strategies. Our CPE teachers have been utilizing Visible Learning strategies to increase student learning in every classroom. We are so excited about the positive impact this is having in our school!
Don't forget that next week, February 27th through March 3rd, is a dress-up week! Also, the All Bentonville Reads celebration will be on Sunday, March 5th at Crystal Bridges.
Ms. Ashley Hagel and Ms. Gina Holderby were hip and took a dip last weekend at Beaver Lake for the Polar Plunge! The proceeds from this event went to support area Special Olympics.
We want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing PTO for hosting the breakfast event for families yesterday! We appreciate the way they tirelessly work to support our CPE students, teachers, and families. Thank you, PTO!

It is School Counselor's week and we simply have two of the best you'll ever find! Amanda Williams and Paula Kaufmann do so very much for our students and staff every single day. They lead with their hearts and positively impact our entire gator family. Thank you!
